Thoddoo (Dhivehi: ތޮއްޑޫ)

is one of the inhabited islands of Alif Alif Atoll in the Republic of Maldives. The population of island is about 2,000 people.

Here are important Buddhist ruins in an area of this island and some key remains were found. Muhammad Ismāīl Dīdī, leading member of the committee exploring the Buddhist ruins of Toddu Island in the 1950s, was amazed at the care with which a Buddha statue they found had been buried. Buddhist statue can be visit in Male National Museum.

This tropical maldivian island is the largest producer of watermelon in Maldives. But not only melons are growing here. In Thoddoo are two  beautiful beaches for guests (called bikini beaches), both ones are  near Amazing View Guest house.  You can  swim and snorkel inside the reef by yourself. This area is safe.
